2018 Audi Q5 – Exterior and Interior Design

The overall presentation of the current model having had the
industry talking, as expected, we are not going to see a full
makeover. The designers would want to keep the Q5 is iconic
look for it is traditional and yet timeless all at the same
time. Based on photos we have managed to see, the 2018 Audi Q5
is going adopt a sort of more powerful body lines that we see
in A4. When we take a closer look at the front, you will
realize that the overall size has been slightly increased, but
the width and height have remained untouched. The grille also
gets the same treatment just like any other Audi car. On the
rear, you will see that the tailgate has not be changed, but
thanks to the introduction of new LED lightings, the rear look
more sophisticated and modern as well.

2018 Audi Q5 – Engine and Performance

Under the hood will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that
is said to produce a power output of 252 hp and 273 pound-feet
of torque. Additionally, unlike what we saw in the previous
generation, the upcoming Audi Q5 2018 works with a 7-speed dual
clutch gearbox and not the usual torque converter automatic
transmission. This new feature will offer unbelievably quick
shift and impeccable manual shift function. When it comes to
fuel economy, if the figures we have are anything to go by, we
can say the upcoming 2018 Audi Q5 is pretty good when it comes
to fuel economy. Thanks to its low weight and the inclusion of
a much updated Quattro system, we are talking about 20 mpg city
and 27 mpg highway.
