2018 Nissan Rogue Sport Review, Price

With the announcement of the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport, we found
out that the compact SUV received little in the way of a
redesign. We also found out that the Nissan Rogue will be made
into 2020 when it’s slated for another actual redesign. It fits
into the market below the mid-size SUVs, like Nissan’s Pathfinder, and above the sub-compact
SUV, like the Nissan Juke.

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport – Exterior Expectations and
Luxurious Interior Design

The 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport did get some redesign but mimics
the 2017 Rogue in many ways including front-end format, and
cabin enhancements (see below). The Rogue will most likely
continue to utilise its Divide-N-Hide Cargo storage system. It
allows for a hidden compartment for storing valuables.

It will probably also have the EZ Flex seating system with its
split second-row seating that can fold down, slide, and
recline. With the 3rd row option, you can fit six passengers in
its 70 cubic feet of interior space. The cabin enhancements
include the advanced drive-assist display, SiriusXM, Bluetooth
hands-free, and rear view camera monitor.

The exterior specs include 17” tires, LED daytime lights and
tail lights and a rear spoiler. Style options include side
mirrors that are powered, heated, the same colour as the Rogue
body, and have LED turn signals on them. Chrome handles and
roof rails are also options.

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport – Engine and Performance

The 2018 Nissan Rogue will feature engine options similar to
the 2017 Rogue with a four-cylinder gas engine, or a hybrid
model featuring either a 2.0 or 2.5-liter dual overhead cam
four-cylinder engine and battery power. The Eco mode will most
likely return as well on the gas-only option to make your drive
more fuel efficient.

All versions of the Nissan Rogue Sport 2018 will utilise a CVT,
continuous variable automatic transmission. This lets the Rogue
use the engine as a brake by downshifting when it deems it
necessary, like in tight curves. Drive trains include all-wheel
and front-wheel-only. It will also include the improved
autonomous emergency braking when the car detects an obstacle
ahead. And hits the brakes before the driver responds. Active
Trace Control is another feature

Nissan did announce that they will have a Rogue Sports option
in 2018. It will be smaller, shedding around 16 cubic feet of
storage space, and about 300 pounds. The wheelbase loses about
2.3 inches and the Rogue Sports body is about a foot shorter.
It will have a 141 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and CVT.
No details were made available as per its drivetrain (FWD vs.

It will be equivalent to their European model, the Nissan Qashqai. It’s aimed at singles and
childless couples as well as older parents with adult children.

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport – Price and Release Date

The price and release date for the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport
compact crossover SUVs have yet to be announced. If it’s in
line with 2017 then prices should range in the $25,000 to
$35,000 area with add-on packages taking on between $500 and
$1500 to the final price.

New model cars are generally released toward the end of the
previous year. So, we can expect the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport to
be available around November.
