The Nissan Roque isn’t among the best compact crossover SUVs in
the class, rather class-average, but it boasts several
appealing characteristics. The model has the ability to seat up
to seven passengers and also rates well regarding seat comfort,
utility, and cargo capacity. The Rogue also rides well and the
hybrid option is also worth considering. Nissan’s well-selling
crossover is even better thanks to the recent tech upgrade and
all versions come with the Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The
model even offers an optional ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous
Nissan refreshed this model for the 2017 model year when also
added the hybrid option. The 2018 model brought upgraded
infotainment and ProPilot Assist tech. As for the 2019 Nissan
Rogue, there are no signs that Nissan is preparing big changes.
The upcoming version will live on the recent upgrades and
bigger changes will come in a year or two.
2019 Nissan Rogue: Design
The Nissan Rogue is the handsome and modern crossover. Nissan
made some styling changes for the 2017 model year and the 2019
Nissan Roque is expected to return in the same form.
The front of the model will bear brand’s V-motion grille and
angular headlights that slightly sweep back. The model will
also have high beltline and well-balanced rear side design. In
the upper trims, the Rogue will add more chrome and upscale
touches. The base models will ride on the 17-inch wheels and
options will include 18- and 19-inch designs.
The interior is the bright side of the Rogue and the seat
comfort and utility are above the class average. The model is
also available with the handsome and high-quality materials but
the tech level is also the better side of the model. The Rogue
also offers up to 70 cubes of the cargo capacity and also
respectable 39.3 cubes with the middle seats upright.
The upcoming Rogue will offer the 7-inch touchscreen and Apple
Car Play and Android Auto on all versions including also the
satellite radio, and some advanced safety systems. An automatic
emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring with the rear
cross-traffic alert will also be standard. Nissan will also
offer lane departure warning and intervention, adaptive cruise
control, and pedestrian detection. The ProPilot semi-autonomous
system will also be available and it can accelerate, steer and
brake in some highway and other conditions.
