2019 Subaru Ascent 8 Seater (Tribeca Replacement SUV): Review, Price

Subaru’s new three-row crossover SUV has finally arrived. Since
the discontinuation of the Tribeca, Subaru hasn’t had the
family-focused SUV. The new 2019 Subaru Ascent 8 Seater is
brand’s largest model ever and the heaviest and most expressive
as well. The model offers the seven- and eight-seat
configurations and competes in the crowded, midsize segment
with models like the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Nissan
Pathfinder, Mazda CX-9, GMC Acadia, VW Atlas, etc.

The supersized Subaru rides on brand’s global platform and
exploits new turbocharged engine which we should expect in more
Subaru’s models soon. The Ascent is also equipped with the
latest tech and standard active safety systems. The base,
Premium, Limited and Touring trim levels will be available.

From the visual perspective, the Ascent is classical Subaru’s
vehicle. The front of the model is defined with brand’s
familiar, trapezoidal grille with slightly more upright design
than on the Outback model.  The headlights have hawkish
design and come with LEDs in upper versions. The profile has
accent lines over the fender flares and the rear has brand’s
familiar design.

with 152 cubes of the passenger space. With all seats upright,

cubic feet.

As for the equipment, Subaru offers the EyeSight active safety
